About Jim Marshall
I started my real estate career in 1985 with a keen familiarity of the area lakes and strong connections with both the seasonal and year-round populations. My knowledge of the area is extensive: the odds are that I know where one can launch a boat or suggest good fishing spots on several of the area lakes.
Kim and I were married in 1989 and have three grown sons and an 88-year old cat (18 human years). Even though I’m always busy with my real estate practice, I manage to take the time to spend with the family and like to enjoy time exploring the region with our boat and of course, my camera.
Currently, I’m serving a four-year term as a Councillor for the Town of Parry Sound and sit on the West Parry Sound Museum Board, the Parry Sound Library Board and the Parry Sound Waterfront Advisory Committee.
Also, I’m a past two-term President of the Parry Sound Real Estate Board and Past Director of the Canadian Real Estate Association’s (CREA) MLS® and Technology Committee.
I have several other interests outside of my real estate career. Music has always been one of my passions, and I am proficient playing the piano and guitar. Gardening, fishing, and astronomy are also hobbies I enjoy.
About Ben Marshall
I have lived most of my life in the Parry Sound area and grew up in a mix of Seguin Township and the Town of Parry Sound. Some of my earliest memories involve showing cottages.
In my teenage years, I learned other parts of the Real Estate business by working for a local law firm and new home construction business. This time taught me many sides of the real estate business.
Currently, I’m serving on the Board of Directors for the Parry Sound Real Estate Board. I look forward to bringing some fresh ideas to this exciting industry.
I have several other interests outside of my real estate career. Music has always been a part of my life, and I love attending local events. Look for me at Bands on the Bay at the Stockey Centre in the summer!
